Three professional artists address racial equity in the performing arts. Panelists will include Anthony Stockard, Producing Artistic Director of the Norfolk State University Theatre Company; Theresa Ruth Howard, former company member of Dance Theater of Harlem and an activist hailed by the New York Times as a “force of change in Ballet;” and Ismar Gomes, an internationally acclaimed cellist, recording artist, and member of both the Richmond and Virginia Symphony Orchestras.
