Swagg, an inner-city teenager, struggles in school but his passion is music. When he finds success, old friends grow jealous of his fame, which leads to Swagg being attacked. He is blamed by the authorities for the altercation and charged as an adult. Abandoned by friends and family, he searches for a way out.
